Canoeing & Kayaking
The Lehigh Valley Canoe Club and the Lehigh Valley Whitewater Club are happy to join Sports Fest this year! Look for free canoe, kayak rides and boating demonstrations at Cedar Beach by Muhlenberg Lake on Saturday and Sunday. Also, join us for an exciting sprint/slalom race on Saturday on the Little Lehigh in the Lehigh Parkway next to the Police Academy!
Race Description: Sprint/Slalom Combination on the Little Lehigh
Sprint 100 yards, navigate through 6 slalom gates, then sprint
to finish.
Best time wins.
Awards: Medals: "Gold, Silver, Bronze" in each class.
Awards to be presented after all races have been completed.
Classes: Men's and Women's, Juniors and Masters' Levels
C-1, C-2, Racing Slalom Kayaks, Plastic WW Kayaks, Recreational

Registration 9am - 10am at the Little Lehigh
Races begin 10am
Location: The Little Lehigh River, in the Lehigh Parkway
next to the Allentown Police Academy
Registration: Register at the event between 9 and 10am.
Cost $5.00 per class event entered $5.00 for
a Sports Fest T-Shirt (optional)
Waiver forms must be signed the day of the race.
Under age 18 must have waiver signed by a parent.
Helmet and PFD's are required.
